About Me

Welcome to my blog! I’m a single mom to a wonderful daughter. She is in her senior year of high school and an honor student. We live in the south suburbs of Chicago and I work for a university in human resources.

I’ve been crafty since I was a teenager but didn’t delve into making jewelry and scrapbooking until 2008. I love making scrapbooks and mini albums. I like making jewelry and cards but making mini albums and scrapbooking is my passion. I love, LOVE, love paper! The paper you choose can make or break your project. I am one with my glue gun thanks to Kathy from PaperPhenomenon.

The tools I use the most are my glue gun, paper trimmer, ATG, scor-pal tape, punches and my score boards (I use both the Scor-pal and Martha Stewart scoring boards). I love embellishments…especially flowers, bling and trim. My favorite paper manufacturers are DCVW, Bo Bunny, Recollections, Prima, Graphic 45 and My Minds Eye. My favorite machines are my Cuttlebug, Vagabond and Cinch.

I truly enjoy being creative. Thanks for stopping by my blog and I would love to hear from you.

Sheryl.
