Christmas 3x3 Note Card swap w/Scrapdaworld

Hi Everyone!

Today I want to share with you all some cards that I made for a swap hosted by Tmika, who is Scrapdaworld on YouTube.  We had to make 5 cards to send out.  The cards had to be 3x3 with at least 2 embellishments.  We also had to make, or buy, envelopes for the cards.

I used The Ballet stack by DCWV and a stamp from Miss Anya Hats Off collection.  I really LOVE how these cards turned out.  I also made an envelope that had a gusset of 1/2 an inch since the card is dimensional.

Pics and video are below.  Thanks for stopping by and let me know what you think.

Think Pink Card Swap

Hi!

I wanted to share some cards I made for a swap.  Betty hosted this awesome swap.  We had to make 5 cards to send out and 1 to keep.  The theme was Breast Cancer Awareness, the cards had to have at least 2 embellishments, pink and an image.

I used the Think Pink printable stamp set from The Cutting Cafe for my cards.  I think they turned out soo super cute.  I've included the video of the cards I made as well as the cards I received.  Let me know what you think and Thanks for stopping by.

Tri-Shutter Card ~ TCC

Hi Everyone,

I know I have been MIA from blogland for over a month but I have been crafting.   :-)   I've been uploading videos to YouTube but not updating my blog.  Soooo sorry...I really need to do better.  So stay tuned....I have a lot of posts that I will be sending out today.

Here is a Tri-Shutter Card that I created using the Autumn Days printable stamp set from The Cutting Cafe.  The instructions on how to make this card can be found at SplitCoast Stampers.  I hope you like what I've created.  Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

3x3 Note Cards w/Envelopes Swap

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share with you some 3x3 Note Cards that I completed for a swap with Tmika (Scrapdaworld on YouTube).  I was part of the Hi/Hello and Thanks/Thank You groups.  Making these cards and envelopes was soo much fun and they turned out sooo incredibly cute!!!  We also had to make envelopes for the note cards.  Since my note cards were on the chunky side, I had to make envelopes that fit so mine have a 1/4" gusset.

Pics, video and tutorial video on envelopes are below.  Let me know what you think and thanks for looking.

Cards - The Cutting Cafe

Hi Everyone!!

I hope everyone is having a great week so far. The week for me is going pretty good. No complaints. :-)

I wanted to share some cards that I did for The Cutting Cafe. For this challenge, we had to use the hexagon shaped card file. This file is super cute and a lot of fun to work with. Lots of possibilities.

So, for these cards, I used the Bo Bunny Little Miss stack and the Bo Bunny Timepiece stack. I also used DeeDee and Flirty Edward stamps from The Greeting Farm. Below are pics and video.

Let me know what you think and thanks for looking!

Gifts for New Engagement

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share with you all a couple of projects that I did for one of my cousins.  She was having a housewarming party because her and her boyfriend bought a house.  Well...a little birdy told me that he was also going to propose at the party as well.  So, I decided to make her a shadow box to help preserve the memories.

I used the Bella Amoire stack by DCWV, flowers, ribbon, and of course...bling.  LOL.  I purchased the shadow box from Michaels sometime last year.  All of the flowers were sprayed with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist.  The red roses and the heather sprays are both from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The blue roses and the white cherry blossoms are from Sa Crafters

I used a card that I had previously made for a design team project for The Cutting Cafe.  I decorated the shadow box using the same colors, just adding red with the flowers and I decorated a bag to put the projects in.  I LOVE how the shadow box turned out!

Pics and video are below.  Let me know what you think.

Flip Flop Cards - The Cutting Cafe

Hi Everyone,

So sorry that it's been a month since I last posted.  I have been creating and uploading the videos, just haven't had a chance to post the projects to my blog.  It's been a super busy month!

So, let me share with you the Flip Flop cards that I did for The Cutting Cafe.  I used 3 files to make these projects:  the Flip Flop Shaped Card, the Flip Flop Laundry Line and the Beach Ball set.  All of these sets are so fun and you won't be disappointed.

Pics and video are below.  Let me know what you think.

Independence Day - The Cutting Cafe

Happy Independence Day!!

Hi Everyone!  I hope all is well and everyone is enjoying their week so far.  Hopefully you all have been enjoying family, great food and fun.  I don't have big plans for the 4th as it falls during the middle of the week and makes it kinda hard for everyone to get together.  So, I'm just going to go over to my mom's for a bit and then relax as I have to go to work Thursday and Friday.

So, for this week, our challenge over at The Cutting Cafe was to use files that were about Independence Day.  For the challenge, I made 2 projects....a card and a layout.

For the card, I made a gate-fold card where the base is 6x6.  I used the Independence Day Sentiments, The USA Phrases and the Independence Day Background set.   I used my Stars cuttlebug embossing folder and some stickles.

For the layout, I used the Independence Day Sentiments and the Independence Day Background set.  I also used the Stars cuttlebug embossing folder as well as some borders and stickers from K&Co.  The blue paper is from Michael's open stock.  I just adhered the paper to some chipboard to make it sturdy.

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Pics and a video are below.

Wishing everyone a Happy and Safe 4th of July.

Sweet Stuff

Hi Everyone,

Happy Hump Day!!  I hope everyone is have a great week so far.  My week has been a lil busy but that's ok.  I'm really glad that the weekend is almost here but especially glad that my weekend starts early as I am off Friday.  WoooHoooooooooooo!!

Ok, back to the reason for this post.  Over at The Cutting Cafe, we had a choice of the Sweet Stuff Printable Stamp Set and the Sweet Stuff Card Set for this weeks challenge.  I used something from each set and made 2 cards.  I also used a sentiment from the Something Old, New, Borrowed Blue Set.  The sets assigned this week were really fun to work with.

Be sure to check out The Cutting Cafe as there are tons of files for whatever you need and they are really affordable.  Also, check out the The Cutting Cafe Blog.  On Wednesday's, it's Inspiration Time where all of the projects created by the fabulous ladies on the design team are presented.

Thanks for stopping by.  Pics and videos are listed below.

Dress Form Stick Pin Easel Card

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to share with you all the cards I made for my first swap.  I had soo much fun making these cards and stick pins.  I can't wait to see what my swap partners have made.  I'll be sure to post them so that you all can see them as well.

Tmika, from Scrapdaworld, hosted this swap.  We had to make a card that had a dress form on the front and 5 stick pins on the inside.  Since we have 2 partners, we were to make 3 cards; 2 to swap and 1 to keep.  I made 4 cards: 2 for my swap partners , 1 for Tmika and 1 to keep.

The tutorial for the card can be found here.  Pics and video are below.

Thanks for stopping by and let me know what you think.

Bag and Card for Happy 1st B-day

Hi Everyone! I didn't get a chance to make a video of the bag and card that I made for the Happy 1st b-day mini album. I was running a tad bit late so I only took pictures. I used a couple of files from The Cutting Cafe:  Happy from the Long Sentiment Tag and a sentiment and dress from the Dress Shaped Card.  The bag is from Michael's, ribbon from Hobby Lobby and the heart on the tag was actually a button.  I just cut the shank off the back.

Thanks for looking and let me know what you think.

Beautiful Rose

Happy Monday!

For all the mothers reading this post, I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday.  I had a good Mother's Day.  I went to dinner with my mom, my daughter, my brothers, one of my sisters-in-law and her mom.  We had a great time.  Mom had a great Mother's Day and that's what counts.

This week, over at The Cutting Cafe, the design team had to make something using the Beautiful Rose file.  When I saw the file, I immediately thought that making an open box card would be really pretty.  This set has 36 images and sentiments.  I also used a few sentiments from the For That Wonderful Mom set.  I used the tutorial from Creative Kelly to make the open box card.

Pictures as well as a video are listed below.  Let me know what you think and have a great week!

Pinwheel - The Cutting Cafe

Hi Everyone and Happy Hump Day!

This week, over at The Cutting Cafe, we had to use the Pinwheels file.  This set comes with 3 different style pinwheels in 4 different sizes.  There are also banner sentiments and circle sentiments.  I made a card using the scalloped pinwheel.  There are pics as well as a video.  Let me know what you think and thanks for stopping by.

Baby Shower Gifts

Hi Everyone,

My daughter and I had a baby shower to go to this past Saturday.  So, I made a baby book, baby wipe case and a card for our gifts.  I used Kathy Files, from paperphenomenom, tutorial for B.A.P. (build a page) to make the book.  I didn't use her tutortial for the cover though.  For the baby wipe case, I used some fabric that I purchased from Joanns a while back.  Everything turned out really cute.  She's having a boy and she really liked her gifts.  Thanks for looking!
