Paris Themed Mini Album and Card

Hi Everyone and Happy Monday!!

Here is my latest project.  I made a mini album and box card using the Le Tres Chic paper stack by DCWV.  I've had this paper stack for a couple of months but wasn't sure what to use it on.  About a month ago, Kelly (from CreativeKelly4rmCali), posted some cards and one of them was a box card.  I loved the look of the card and wanted to make one as well.  When she posted the instructions for the card, I made one using the Le Tres Chic paper.  I then decided that I should make a mini album using the paper as well.  The paper is gorgeous but it was a bit of a challenge in picking the papers so that they coordinated with each other....at least for me it was.  As for the end result of the book,  I love the way it turned out.  I love the look of the card as well.  There are pics below but the video gives a lot more detail.  Let me know what you think and thanks for stopping by.

Altered Wood Box and Mini

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to share a project that I finished up Sunday evening.  After I finished altering the tissue box holder, I was still in the mood to paint.  So I decided to alter a wood box.  I also made a mini album to fit inside of the box but realized after putting my tags inside of the mini.....it was too big!!!  So....I made another mini using the Tim Holtz Baroque die.  This one is on the chunky side as well.  :-)   Both of the albums turned out cute.  I used the DCWV Black Currant Stack.

Altered Tissue Box

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share a tissue box that I altered.  I got the box from Michaels a few months ago.  I was inspired by Tracy from Mrstlc1 on youtube.  She did a project on a Tissue Box a while ago and I wanted to make one.  I wanted a shabby chic look and I think it turned out really cute.  Let me know what you think.

Birthday Card for my Daughter

Hi Everyone!

Today is my daughters birthday.  Happy Birthday Amber!!!  So, earlier this week, I was watching youtube videos and Kelly from CreativeKelly4rmCali posted a video on some box cards that she created using Gorjuss stamps.  They were soo cute.  Then, a day later, Bona from LiveLoveScrap did a video on her version of the box card along with instructions.  Kelly said in her video that she will be doing a video with dimension/instructions.  So, I used Bona's instructions and below is a video of my take on the box card.  Amber's favorite color is green so I used a lot of green with this box card but I think it turned out pretty good.  She liked it when she saw it again this morning when I gave it to her before dropping her off at school.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Birthday Scrapbook

Morning Everyone!

My mom asked me to make a scrapbook for one of her friends using the pictures she took from the surprise birthday party.  I asked for Sis. Smith's favorite color and since it was green, I thought the DCWV Lemon Flower stack would be perfect.  I used the Lemon Flower stack and I also used a couple of sheets from the DCWV Linen Closet and The Blossom Song stack .  I also used some Tim Holtz dies and Martha Stewart punches.  Let me know what you think and thanks for watching!

Baby Shower Gifts

Hi Everyone,

My daughter and I had a baby shower to go to this past Saturday.  So, I made a baby book, baby wipe case and a card for our gifts.  I used Kathy Files, from paperphenomenom, tutorial for B.A.P. (build a page) to make the book.  I didn't use her tutortial for the cover though.  For the baby wipe case, I used some fabric that I purchased from Joanns a while back.  Everything turned out really cute.  She's having a boy and she really liked her gifts.  Thanks for looking!

Notebooks 2

Hi Everyone!  I made two more notebooks for my daughters math teachers from her freshman and sophmore year.  I recorded this video back in January but never got around to posting it.  I hope you like them.  Her teachers loved them.  Thanks for stopping by.
